Our origins

Today our Company is an important and well-established reality, borne of 50 years of the passion, creativity, experience and entrepreneurship of Mr. Fernando Lecce, the founder of Lecce Pen.

From its inception at a small workbench in Milan to its present global position the path for Lecce Pen has been long and the journey eventful, not without its setbacks, but nonetheless rich in satisfaction and fulfillment.

• 1950 the ‘Morgan’ company was established in Milan. This was the beginning of a long and successful journey in the pen trade.

• 1951 Mr. Fernando Lecce’s wife, Mrs. Domenica Cena started working for the company. Today she is our Honorary President.

• 1953 final move of the operation to Settimo Torinese, where the Lecce Fernando Company was established. This was also the year that facilities were installed to cater for promotional printing in-house.

• 60’s consolidation of the company and of its core business. At the same time, new investments were made in the property business. A Hotel was built in Settimo Torinese and today this is called the ‘Green Center Hotel’.

• 1976 the Lecce Pen Company was established. That marked the beginning of a period of growth that would ultimately lead to the creation of an international group with sister companies and manufacturing plants in other Countries. Mr. Fernando Lecce’s two sons and only daughter together with their spouses joined The Lecce Pen company and this significantly contributed to achieving sustained growth for the group. Mr. Fernando Lecce sadly passed away in 1992.

• 80’s the company moved to its present location in Strada Cebrosa.

• 1989 the Lecce Pen Company becomes a stock company.
